Well it seems that the rhetoric from the USA of the past few months on moving against Syria where "all options are on the table" and crossing the Obama "redline" of acceptable forms of murder has been met by Israel over the past two days with successive air raids against Syrian targets.

So, with the clock ticking on a US currency collapse and the USA's ability to afford its military, is it a case of use it or lose is?

Syria, Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya, Egypt, Tunisia, Yemen, Pakistan ... Bond Bubble, Stock Bubble, QE and out of control money printing, falling exports, falling employment, industrial sector living off the government, systemic investment fraud, regulators captured by industry, market manipulation, rampant cronyism, largest national debt of all time (that is still accelerating) and lobbyists ensuring corporate interests precede the citizenry ... Just seems that there is a clash of timetables between global conquest and empire collapse.

Israel - always meddling in everyone else's affairs. They've learnt we'll from the USA.

Zionists joining together with Wahabi and Sunni Muslim Royal families? I guess it's no more strange than the CIA funding Muslim fundamentalists in over throwing other Arab regimes.

But that is sure going to upset the Arab natives of those Kingdoms.

Destroying missiles which everyone knows will directly target their civilians is 'meddling'? I'd argue it is in their interest, it's entirely their own affair to be involved in.

There's talk of those bombs dropped on the research facility being low yield nuclear bunker buster bombs. Hence why they where blurred out in the video of the jets getting ready for departure and the almighty boom when they where dropped. Israel crossing a red line of rational people everywhere if that's the case. That said I believe the next war will involve nuclear weapons because of their function in resource denial. What a sad little planet we live on.

I can't see how Russia and perhaps even China can stand back while geopolitically speaking this conflict will be their undoing. The road to war with Iran will be paved with the debris of Syria. No Iran, no cheap oil for China or Russia. Persia is the soft underbelly of Russia. I don't think they will just sit there while the USA allows Israel to thrust a dagger into it.

So you believe everything Israel says? Everyone knows about these supposed missile? Who is everyone? Israel is the most destabilising force in the region, always meddling, backed by the USA doing whatever it wants without any thought for the future of the region.

Israel is a buffer state in the American empire. The IDF is a proxy army for the US. Israel gets US funding, weapons, training and orders. Israel supplies bodies and its location as a punching bag. The real joke is that some think the US army is a proxy for Israel

No, I just observe that ever since Saddam Hussein started sending Scud missiles at Tel Aviv in 1991 when Israel wasn't even involved in the Gulf War, that Israel's neighbours target civilians. Whether it is unguided rockets from Hamas after Israel unilaterally returned control of Gaza, more rockets and artillery from Hezbollah or suicide bombs on buses and in pizza parlours, the weapons aimed at Israel since the conventional wars of 1948 to the 1970's are not aimed at the military, but regular people.

A leading United Nations investigator says she is 'stupefied' by the testimony from victims of the Syrian conflict that rebels have used nerve agent sarin.

Carla Del Ponte told Swiss TV there were "strong, concrete suspicions but not yet incontrovertible proof".

She said her panel had not yet seen evidence of government forces using chemical weapons

We're just re-writing history again so we can go to war in the name of "Freedom' it's turtle-heading ridiculous instead of getting rid of every politician that supported the war in Iraq we vote them back into power to start the next war.

It then becomes a he said, she said so of course we continue down the same paths because we hate the 'muslims' thus we continue to bomb on the quiet. Last president not to bomb was Carter, yet we wonder why they hate 'us'......

We the west are the aggressors doesn't matter if it's the will of Israeli politicians or not we allow it to happen because we've been spoon fed the notion that creating the nation state of Israel was the best idea before sliced bread.

Remember when the USSR was evil because it was occupying Afghanistan? We are now the occupiers and we don't even really know why.... Lets just get the *uck out of Middle East and elsewhere would be a cheaper but then vested interest wouldn't be as powerful. So instead we eat up the bs thats feed to us and we continue to get the poorer for the privilege.

    Left right left right....

It's not about how much energy you have buried in YOUR backyard, it's about how much energy flow you control or influence. Just ask the USA.

This map of the planned & present pipeline network throughout the ME shows Syria's crucial roll as a crossroads for oil & gas.

An old article from 2009 is perhaps one of the most insightful pieces you could read that outlines the power plays being performed before us throughout the Middle East & Persia: http://www.atimes.com/atimes/Central_Asia/KC26Ag01.html

Should we get out of Afghanistan? But what happened when the Russians left? The Taliban took over. Have a read of the book "Veiled Threat" by Sally Armstrong. "Veiled Threat is Sally Armstrong's testimony to what she saw in Afghanistan. It not only describes the Taliban's brutality, but also the enduring courage of the women who resisted it for five years...."

One day, women were free to walk around in jeans and tee shirts, the next a woman had her fingertips cut off by Islamic religious enforcers, for wearing nail polish, who demanded that they cover themselves up with burkas.

I suppose we have to make painful choices. We know that if the Taliban and its sympathisers are back in charge in Afghanistan that women, children and homosexual men will suffer horribly at the hands of Islam and Sharia law.

If we leave, we abandon them to their terrible fate: honour killings, homosexuals hung from cranes, female genital mutilation, endless abuse, and the expansion of global Islamic terrorism.

I don't think there are any easy answers. But maybe it is a start to get military forces out of countries like Afghanistan, and work on the ground with groups like RAWA to ensure that girls and boys have access to education.

Mossad agents were involved in 9/11 attack. Says a lot about whose pulling whose strings...
