Thanks. I just ordered one from him. I love these Dazu Rock Carving Medals.

FYI taobao sales has it at 620 yuan (approx $105) so his price which includes shipping to North America is not bad...

His price on the fish dragon evolution is a little too high on ebay. Besides that fish dragon medal is not my cup of tea. When you mention the grotto one, are you talking about the Dazu Rock Carvings medal he has up on ebay for $150.00?

I purchased the Taoist Medals above from Lucklymoneyro. Don't know too much about them. Haven't seen them on any website.

yes the dazu rock carvings. i bought the fish dragon one because my interpretation of it is the fish represents christ and the dragon represents satan and the fish is overwhelming the dragon. i know it probably has some other meaning in china but my interpretation makes me happy. i bought it off ebay so it was alittle less and free shipping. someday i hope i can resell. i also have the turando medal set. i had been trying to find that to purchase for a long time.and i asked luckmoneyro if he could find it. the female does not look oriental she looks like me and my daughters do. the nose high cheekbones the large eyes and heart shaped face. the story is not to far off for my life either. i could not believe it when i read about the opera storyline. i also purchased the nine dragon brothers. he has it in silver but i would have to quit buying for a while. i can not come up with the money. codenamelove

Here are some premium medals which have appreciated tremendously since their issue price. All these medals are cast by the Shanghai Mint. Unfortuantely, my wallet is a little light at the moment so I can't afford them. All the prices I listed are from Taobao.com so I don't know if you can haggle on this prices. Maybe low can shed some light on buying on Tabao. Are prices negotiable?

Mother of all copper medals. Market price is supposedly between 1 million-2 million Yuan.

What about the 30th anniverssary panda medal brass version? What's the mintage and is it the same price as the copper medal?
