Contacting All SS current members

I'm experiencing the same issue there as many others here - I can't remember my password and clicking the "I Went And Forgot My Password Because I Chose One That's Bloody Impossible To Remember So Please Send Me An Email So I Can Change The Password And Regain Access To My Account" button doesn't work

 

I'm glad I stumbled upon this thread, I've only sporadically checked SS over the years since I was actively buying so I totally missed the news that GP is MIA & the site is changing hands. I don't even know if Fat Penguin, Stoic Phoenix, SilverSurfer77 & others I bought from are still active, I'll have to check their profiles but I know Adze is because he recently held an auction. FP still has the penguin avatar I made him, lol.

 

Brilliant idea. If ppl are comfortable with it, would you consider a spreadsheet?

 

Members have also requested anonymity meaning that they would like screening b4 providing any contact details.
That's about 5% so far.
For the rest yes that can be arranged.
But ill go thru the process of seeking individual permission as to the Spreadsheet circulation, this was always a last resort fail safe in case the site disappears and members are in the middle of monetary transactions primarily and secondly being able to provide a new meeting/trading address on top.

But that sounds like a practical idea.
There have been some good ideas proposed.

I've been a member at Silveroos for a year now but always traded on SS only.

If Silveroos is a sister site is it possible for an admin to transfer / link our feedback over to reflect on both forums.......I've got zero on Silveroos

 

I think this was done at the birth of silveroos as I appear to have feedback there. Shouldn’t matter as you can be vouched for by others.

 

It was done at the time silveroos was created.

1. It relied upon having an exact username match
2. The user's feedback had to be visible on SS
3. It only reflected feedback up to the date when the migration happened

If there's anyone who wants to migrate their feedback over I could do a once off for them.

 

I'll transfer your feedback if you're okay with it being on sivleroos.
