For interest sake, coinjar just upped my max anonymous bank deposit from $500 to $1200. Maybe they have done so well outta this volatility they can afford more transactions a day...
Whatever it is works for me, can get 2 more btc in one transfer when it drops again....

*LTC is killing me at the moment, the crash that never comes...

Na just common sense that bubbles pop. Not the first bubble for these crypto currencies. Don't get me wrong I wish you guys the best. I know a few people that got burned by the first bubble. I love gp's approach, he bought in early, reached his price point, then cashed out his initial investment so now whatever happens happens. Just hope no one "invests" more than they can afford to lose

This is absolutely critical, else it could end in tears.

If thinking logically makes you an expert with a crystal ball then yes.
Baffles my mind how people can continue to have such confidence in bitcoin at these prices (though I do not claim to be anywhere near an expert on the subject).

bubbles pop, sometimes later than you expect, but they still pop.
You can push your luck and make good money, sure, but once it goes any attempt to bail will result in bloody hands.

It's been pretty amazing to watch the rise, i'm happy people are making money, but the atmosphere stinks of a casino floor.

Sure I am not saying this last run up will not revert.
The truth is we do not know what will happen.

Hmm, I went to sell BTC using Coinjar today and discovered that they've changed their selling/withdrawal arrangements (as of this weekend just gone).

Previously, if you placed a sell order, one of the options was to send your BTC directly from an external wallet (or exchange) to the Coinjar-provided BTC address. That option no longer exists :(

The only way to sell now is that you must have BTC sitting in your Coinjar wallet, and when you sell, Coinjar Filler (the buy/sell part of Coinjar) will deduct the BTC from your Coinjar Wallet. :/

Just seen this on Coinjar if it worries you. Myself it does not but the daily limit does.

Also do i place a sale order with them at whatever price I want then once it gets taken the AUD$ is in my account do I then fill the daily limit for a couple of days to withdraw?

Figured out you have to take the current quote which is lame, means I have to wait around.

They changed the rules because of assholes like me.

You could quote a sell and it would hold the price for 15 minutes (they were also on a delay before prices updated). Basically you could scam the system with both buy orders and sell orders to an epic degree so long as you kept a close watch on a few different exchanges real time data during volatility.

Also, in regards to paying sells from external wallets no longer being possible, FWIW the deposits to the Coinjar wallet only take 1 confirm to clear as available. I just sold some 5 minutes back and the deposit from my wallet to CJ took less than 5 minutes!

Hey Prospector. I have a withdrawal queued and it says processing with the circle loading thingy. Does that mean I am waiting till tomorrow or tonight for it to be confirmed?

It just seem odd to have a loading circle still going like the information is trying to go somewhere.

Don't worry about the circle, I don't think its a set time.

I'm with a different bank to CJ, and withdraw almost every day - some arrive same day, but the latest has been 3 business days after.

If the money's not there in 2-3 business days then worry.

Have you or will you be identifying yourself with them. I was thinking about doing it tomorrow to beat the rush in December.
