Coin roll hunting a good idea?

    I've been thinking lately about starting to hunt coin rolls. Going to my local bank and exchanging $20-$50 in bills, to penny or half dollar rolls. Whatever I find/keep, i'd just throw in another penny of half dollar I have thats worth nothing. So basically getting junk silver or wheatie pennies for free.

    Think its worth the time and effort? And how would you suggest I get started.
