You can still join as a member, we have about 50 members but only about 20 - 30 turn up on the night. It is about $15 a year and you get 11 20-page newsletters a year plus members only offers, this year is the 20th anniversary of the club and they have minted copper, aluminium and silver medallions, these are about $2 cheaper for members. The membership fee doesn't cover the cost of the newsletter and postage! The Session on 3 May will have a tender night where members bring in items for sale, forget about finding any silver though, I will be there to pick it all up!
yeah i went to the last one im going to become a member next month should be good they had some nice coins for show and tell a very nice 8 reals and i had get one and got it today this one is from the el cazador ship wreck 1787 date on it
Next meeting is on Tuesday 3rd May, There are about 100 items up for tender sale, mostly numsmatic but a few bits of silver as well. Should be a good turnout, see you there purgatori
Nope, just re read the tender lists and no silver for sale. Some of the members do trade amongst themselves but last month we had three people all trying to buy silver, no luck! Night time for those of us with day jobs.
