It took me a while to figure out on my own that you could buy real physical gold and silver and why it's a good investment. I also hear that the Ruble is so dirt cheap that it is a good investment. Does currency work just like some stocks? Can I buy a load of ETF Rubles and make a lot of money once the Russian economy picks up? I am so clueless. Can someone please give me some insight about whether or not you can invest in currencies and make a profit? I apologize if this question has been asked before.
Yes, you can trade the Ruble using forex. There's also Russian ETFs but these are more related to the Russian economy than the currency itself. I wouldn't be investing in the Ruble atm though
It is usually the clueless that provide the fodder for the professionals. Like the Swiss Franc, you are too late to make a killing on the Ruble. You need to be a front runner rather than a chaser.
