Sorry Old Fool - I didn't realise that you are the go to OF for all things regarding Military tactics - what a goose ;)

With a - WING BAG INDEX - 5,128 - 0 you should take some of your own advice and as you would say - Keep Your Mouth Shut (keeping your false teeeeeeeth in)

So what is it - is it your own computer or theirs used under strict supervision in the nursing home :D

    Merry Christ-mas :)

At least the US has the balls to stand up to Chinese bullying and crimes. Australia would just roll over and take it up the arse.

Stand Up? This happened in the early 2000s when a spy plane and whole crew were damaged by an aggressive Chinese escort fighter (vintage pilot died) and the crew didn't properly destroy all the sensitive into and the crew only got returned after a while... Then there's poor poor Gary Powers. They talk tough but I'm all 3 cases the opponent got into the candy shop of technical and ultimately strategic info they needed.
You can give the thing back once you've all but reversed engineered it, it doesn't really matter at that point. Makimg a fuss is for the folks at home.

That's why if a B-2 went down in Iraq it was going to get JDAMmed to hell, so that wouldn't happen. That's what they were prepared to do and tried to do with the stealthy copters in Neptune sprear, except the Chinese got geometry and RAM materials from the bit that went over the wall, they knew that was a risk which is why the the even more advanced peace pave hawk style copters weren't used, because they didn't want this. Ever wonder why a J-20 looks love it's wearing a JSF nose and has what looks like DAS, only they cant ask for that back cause the Chinese took just the data but believe me some of RAM coating Pakistan gave up well turn up on chinese vehicles.

Unless I'm very much mistaken this build security breach is actually big news, the open Chinese war threats in state media regarding a blockafe against created islands is related because this UUV IS part of a Sig/sling etc. Or kill chain platform at or near IOC or more or even more than that.

Complaining makes the Chinese feel important when they're asked and make the US wait, the US feels good when they get it bank, but it makes no real difference, if Australia didn't complain it would change absolutely nothing in actual tactical it strategic terms.
