China products more expensive .

    Thought i would share an email that i recieved from a company in china ive dealt with .Dont know if its true or just an attempt to get me to buy .

    good day to you

    In china from november 1st 2016 lot of raw material price increasing , the percentage is that.

    Plastic 30%
    aluminium 30%
    rubber 30%
    carton/box 30%
    stainless steel 40%
    freight charge 33.6%

    Anyone else deal over there or heard anything about the so called increases?

    Sounds like Trump's 35% tariff on Chinese goods. Shouldn't start until Jan 21st next year ;)

    Nope, the market place is too sensitive to try that.

    Freight rates are in the basement, and have been for many months. Check the Baltic Dry Index.

    The BUYER controls the market price not the seller, they go elsewhere if the price is not right. Don't you?
