The funniest thing I saw was this NASA guy saying, "we did know how to get a man to the moon, but we've lost/forgotten all that info and so can't do it now".

How stupid do they think we are to believe that we've gone that far backwards over 50 years!! I guess that you really can fool some of the people all the time!!

I’m curious to know what proof from this next moon landing would change the mind of non believers

Nasa is just budget black hole.

( Politician ) "blah blah in 5 years we will go back to the moon" LOL
( Astronauts ) "We lost the technology its a painful process to build all the technology again"

Give them another few billion and we may go back to the moon
we may get another update on the blue marble pictures

I might start believing these people when they start admitting to the lies they've told in the past.

Plenty of money for the Vietnam war ... and plenty of money the space mission ... but could not afford the distance for proper horizons ...

Exactly, it's like if Ford's engineering department said, "We used to be able to make a Model T Ford, but we lost that technology and it will take 30 years of research and development to build another one.

It's nothing like that at all. It's common sense that NASA wouldn't have the tools, manufacturing capability, people with experience, etc to recreate the moon landing without substantial reinvestment and you wouldn't want to try and replicate that dated technology anyway.

Does NASA even have a rocket engineering department anymore?
Besides doubt any country is going to design a new moon mission and take note of anything significant from the Apollo missions technology wise.

China invented a mechanical clock a thousand years before Europe. Then the next Emperor was zero interested and ordered the clock be dismantled. The technology was lost for hundreds of years until China needed a clock, which they then got from Europe.

It's not just the stunts ... the moon's diameter is about the same as the width of Australia but it has unbelievably short horizons ... hooray for Hollywood ...

Wow a reflection of light off something shiny proves the moon landing was fake... well, I'm convinced :D
