Volumes hadn't increased recently....Usually you see increased volumes from all the inside knowledge people, no? Anyone shed some light?
i recently spoke with a manager from the mines up that way; he doesnt work for cgt. coincidentally, not long after i bought a small position in cgt. and not long after i read ho-bo jo's comments about the company! he said there's no gold left (?)
Recent news: brr.com.au/event/75898 28th Feb 2011 * Awarding mining contractor / they are currently on site doing saftey checks * Production due by Sept 11 * Good drilling results at target * continued drilling going on elsewhere hmmmmmm "he said there's no gold left (?)" As we approach 2,000/ounce *all* mine-able resources will increase.
He was heavily sedated at the time! No, seriously, that's what he said. I thought it odd, given ho-Bo Jo's analysis. And he didn't work at a CGT mine...
I heard the same when i was working on an exploration rig contracted to St Barbara at the old Sons of Gwalia site in Leonora(05/06), was told there was gold left but was too deep it would be too costly to extract. When we first arrived share price was 1c, now look at it. Not sure if they have expanded and purchased new mines or have found new deposits since i left. Didnt buy any cause at the time i recently got burnt by Lihir.
then 1c and is now $2.11.... umm, thats some serious improvement in share price... anyone here jump on THAT rocket? of course, that's exactly whats happening with CGT right now...err...right?
Or maybe they've finally found where the Chinese have been hoarding their stack?! Bring on the.....*drumroll*.... WALL OF GOLD..... I love the uncertainty of a trading halt.
At least I have some faith in this board not to burn us on capital raisings (unlike some I've seen) - still a bit dissapointed that 1 is apparently required I thought they would be good through to production.
Dear Sir Request for Trading Halt Castlemaine Goldfields Limited requests a trading halt from the commencement of trading on Thursday, 3 March 2011 to facilitate a proposed significant capital raising. The trading halt is expected to last until the commencement of trading on Monday, 7 March 2011. Castlemaine Goldfields is not aware of any reason why the trading halt should not be grant. .........................
It seems their current 17M would be enough to get current plan production yeah? The plant is ready to go... I'm leaning towards a "new" direction of some sort. optimistically ofcourse
If they made this announcement(buying) would this tend to send shares up or down immediately. I hold short always.Wondering if I should dump on opening(before people can read reports)
