Other than licensed private retailers, most of the provincial governments will also be participating in retail sales, with online and physical stores.

For example, try OCS.ca (Ontario Cannabis Store) or http://www.bcldbcannabisupdates.com (British Columbia).

Same as the Canucks do for alcohol in most provinces. You don't go to the bottlo for beer, you go to the provincial distribution center.

Is it legal to grow marijuana in Canada?

Market prices seems like $8 a gram, why pay that if you can grow it yourself.

1,000g in British Columbia. 150g in Quebec. Other provinces are not placing explicit personal storage restrictions.

    Other general restrictions:
    • not to consume in vehicles
    • around children under 18 or
    • areas where tobacco consumption is prohibited
The gist is the government want smokers to get high only at private homes behind closed doors.

Demand is expected to outstrip supply by a fair margin, and there are budding entrepreneurs (pun intended) lining up to grow cannabis commercially.

Unfortunately the financial establishment has thus far been reluctant to extend credit to this industry, hence a lack of capital.

I wonder whether people who were against legalization changed their mind or not. I was and still am for legalization only for medicinal purposes. I know from my own experience that CBD oil really works as I use it for my insomnia. What about you? Do you use CBD products? Or do you still think that marijuana should be illegal?

It is really cool! I hope that it will be legal everywhere soon. I have read a lot about CBD and how good it is for your health in the article from here, and I recommend that you try learn more about it and maybe try it out too, think about it :)

The immense destruction of lives that anti-cannabis laws have wreaked is a disgrace.

The sooner it is legalised in Australia the sooner we can close this whole sorry chapter.

I was openly smoking fat spliffs at some downtown Melbourne pubs just last year. The only questions I was asked was 'can I have a drag of that?'.
That said I got kicked out of a few as well (the ones with 'dress codes' and entry fees).

I would say it's pretty close to being a part of life in most Western countries soon enough.

As a beekeeper, I'm amazed by how much of an outlier bees are. I struggle to think of any other insects that provide us with products apart from Cochineal beetles for colouring and cultures that use insects as a food source, yet bees provide honey, wax, propolis, royal jelly, venom, billions in pollination services as well as being a viable alternative to dogs for detection work- 6 seconds to train as compared to 18 months for a dog and a huge magnitude cheaper to replace.

Marijuana is a similar outlier in it's range of uses.

The nagging thought I have is that Marijuana, bees and octopi are such outliers that they're probably ancient gifts from our alien progenitors.

The dispensaries are pretty fun places to visit though. They have to keep the theme ‘medicinal’ which shifts the perception away from druggie culture. It works, and people are pretty keen to chat.

This was my lockdown stack, purchased legally in Ontario, Oregon. It was really a great time to explore a bit of my creative side.
