    Good clip.

FYI I spent a day accompanying John Cleese in 1971 or possibly 72 when he became honary rector of St. Andrews Univeristy.

True! Photonaware experienced a moment of madness. Needs to be cleaned up. But the idea has merit.

    Appreciate your feedback.
Right now we will take anything that allows us to post good material that is appropriate to "rip-off Britain silver junkies".
Definitely a buy, sell, swap subgroup would be good.

Would that be a thread where all the Pommy tax avoiders get together and talk about how to avoid vat on pm's. Bet that wont get any attention from the relative authorities. :p

As an ex-POM and with relatives still there (silly, silly people, don't they get that the weather is better here haha!), I think it's a great idea.

Bob Diamond's probably looking for a new hang-out too ...

I reckon it would be a nice gesture to the folks back in the mother country to have their own section. The Eurozone is a good suggestion too!

I agree. A Eurozone trading forum is likely to be quite successful. Although there is 20% VAT/GST on silver in the UK there is no VAT or capital gains on sovereigns. Some one will have to post a sticky to explain the silver and gold market in the UK - and maybe one for each of the European countries in due course. The main reason to have a separate forum for Europe is because trade offers are likely to stay valid longer than the Australian ones and if the European offers increase you would want to filter them out from the Australian ones anyhow to avoid clutter for both.

Along the lines of give it to them to shut them up :)

    Hi everybody.
I started this thread in several sections - gold, silver, buy/ sell only to capture interest from a broad spectrum.
Assumed gold people wouldn't bother opening silver etc.
Also I am not sure if most people check the Q&A section.
These threads appear to have moved into this one thread and I understand the reason. Bit disappointed that many stackers may now miss the opportunity to join in. Only positive point is an administrator would have had to do this move so hopefully it will have been noticed.

Seems we are getting off the subject now.
It was a serious request but typical sh*t quickly sends the topic off-course and into oblivion.
I will not be asking again so if the UK forum doesn't happen, at least I tried.
It's our loss in the wetlands of the UK for exisiting & newbee stackers.

Instead of 4 posts asking for it, why didn't you just open a post named UK section and see how it went? Seems simple enough

Photon, if I was you I'd post another 4 times just to make your point.

As a Pommyhating Australian cricket supporter, I fully support your cause and call on The Pelcan to make a public announcement today, clarifying his intentions to start a UK sub-forum by indicating with a simple "yes" or "no".

Spam away my friend if you feel that such a tactic supports your cause - I am on your side and so are the other trolls on this site.

@Ladybird - What the hell or where the hell is a "Mancun"?
