The family, who have asked the ABC not to use their last names, say they went for breakfast on March 2 at the Bada Bing cafe in Woodlands, in western Perth.

This is such a strange story. Surely a busy cafe would sell lots of brownies yet only 1 complaint?
The ABC state they have no evidence to support their own reporting & they are aware the Police have fully investigated the incident & no charges have been laid.

I believe the "family" story about the happy brownie being bought at the cafe but I also dont think the cafe did it intentionally.

Brownie being there next day, isn't a big deal if it isn't a big seller.

    It is either
    1. A disgruntled employee, pissing on the cafe owners business
    2. Stupid owner or employee made it for personal consumption but it ended up in the display and being sold.
    3. Idiot owner or employee dropped a bud in the mixer without knowing it.

    Why because
    1. no mention of "Expensive" or "special" brownie on sale, surely a "special" brownie would cost much more than normal brownie to warrant questions from the buyer
    2. no one else complained

If thc brownies made you feel like that I might believe her but it's not consistent. I've eaten plenty of that stuff and a third of a brownie doesnt do that. Shes never eaten weed before and her story tells. It doesnt make you hallucinate.

Someone can't deal with their child being a Peter Parker ('a friend of Mary-Jane').

Leaf isn't that cheap that you would use it to prank randoms.

I can tell you from personal experience that the edibles can sneak up on you in a not-good way.
From that time I never use THC products, only pure CBD (click here)

As a regular smoker with quite a tolerance edibles still kick my ass.
I'd say its totally possible that someone who had never had weed before would hallucinate off edibles, depending on how strong they were.
