Silver dropped close to $3 after I bought and I still made a small profit, so not baaaaad. And yes, I sold for paper. Paper good, silver bad. If I am correct about the direction of silver, the horses will be cheaper later. If not, no worries. Now I can tear down the corral and put up a high rise condominium complex. :)

I saw an opportunity to reduce my silver exposure and to turn a profit, so I took it. I don't think you can go wrong buying at 2oz lunar horses at $44/coin.

Definitely not fake but I didn't take them out of the Perth Mint shrink wrap tube to check them out individually.

Not my picture but they came like this:

In regards to 2's or 5's, since I'm suspicious of future prices (you know the silver market is doomed 'cos I'm buying), I buy as much to satisfy the collector aspect. The 2 oz are great but the 5oz is simply impressive++. I figure that even if silver metal prices don't go where they could, the wow factor of the 5 oz coins will still stand them in good stead.

Yea I'm with you on that one... I think I might start collecting these too... I see a snake for 127 shipped which seems decent.

The $23 price (which was actually $22.19) was just for a few days on wholesalecoinsdirect.com. They sold out very quick!

Everyone who ordered and talked about it over on reddit.com received their order from what I know but shipping was a bit slow.

2 oz Horses are back in stock at Provident. Now at $48.42.

There are 177 left so hopefully barsenault won't buy them all.

    Done. Gott'em. hehehe.

JK of course. At 44.48 a pop, I've fulfilled my quota on these. Moving on to the 10 oz. :)

edit: Passed on the 10 oz, and bought 2 rolls of the 1 oz of the Horses from Golden Eagle Coins. Best price I could find at 34.69. Heck, dccpa probably sold his to them. However, I did say cancel the order if they don't have 2 complete Perth Mint rolls or I'd send them back (they do have a return policy - whew). I just think as prices go down, they'll be less and less available in short order. (or premiums get hiked). This is why I like the limited mintage coins. I know the 2015 kooks are nicely priced, but I'll move on to them soon, IF they're not gone in short order.

dang, I went to go buy some of the 2 oz horses from Provident, and they're already gone. Did you buy them all idratherbegardening??? Those went in a flash. Hopefully they get another 170 of them...this time, I'll buy them all again. :) Oh, only if they're at about 44 bucks...that is a steal. Come to papa.

Heh, I learned my lesson this time and bought some before posting. Only 20 though.

They are going quick. One of these times they will be out with no more stock available.

My guess is they are $50 if they ever get more in stock.

Bummer, I had to settle for 20 x 2 oz of the Goats, but I'll take them at these prices. I'm much prefer the horses though. Oh well. Still beautiful coins to tuck away for the next 15-20 years. I look at it as my savings account. I just hope in that time, silver isn't 5.00. LOL.

Why do you say that? 2 oz goats at Provident are $42.68 and horses are $55.28.
