    G'Day all,

I will be in Singapore for a couple days late May, and I wanted to pick up a few 1/4 onuce gold panda's for some different dates.

Can anybody suggest a dealer with a good reputation?

All dealers with a shopfront in Singapore can be trusted.

Not really into pandas, but SKbullion used to offer to comparatively cheaper gold coins before it shutdown a month ago.

Here are some quick links. The first shop has the best location as it is in the orchard shopping district.

If you are flying with Singapore airlines you may be eligible for Changi dollars, if in a group these can be stacked to buy gold at the airport.
I recently bought a 2.5g pamp with leftover Singapore dollars from my trip and $60 in Changi dollars making for some under spot gold.
Went to terminal two and purchased from PureGold

Bullion shops in many shopping centres in Singapore. Always seemed strange to me... but not now I'm a stacker!

Bullion shops popped out after the Singapore government removed GST on certain bullion products in 2012. Lots of people jumped in around that time and bought gold and silver bullion. The enthusiasm slowly died off and now the shops are mostly selling to tourists and mostly Indian and caucasian expats working in Singapore.

long before the gst removal, people buy gold/silver and stored them in free port
and many few hundred tonnes storage facilities were built at the time
most likely they are used for transit or something else
this is well more than the 100+ tonnes in govt reserve :)

Singapore is also a great place to buy gold jewellery. If you are happy to buy 2nd hand, there is not a lot of mark-up above spot. Maxi Cash are quite good.

I'm curious as to know how PM storage works there. I know that they would have something like Brinks (where you store the PM but won't be able to view it at the spot), I also know some bullion dealers offer storage and charges a fee as a percentage of the metal.
I wanted to know if they had any reputable private vaults/ storage facilities that give you a box to put in what you want and allow you to view your box during normal business hours.

If any fellow Singaporian stackers could share with us, that would be great :)
