I wonder if it means they have covered back-tax.
I have no idea !
Bugger I sold MCT at 4 cents end of 2019... wish I never looked
What did you think of the company?
According to this, QRE dividend is franked 103%. First thought was this means I can claim an extra 3% tax return on the dividend?
Dunno if we're on track here, but found this:
From: FSC Standard No. 2 https://fsc.org.au/resources/fsc-standards-and-guidance-notes/standards
The imputation credit is also known as a franking credit. So I'm assuming the 103% represents the franking level.
But that Standard has been repealed. Clear as mud hey? Still doesn't answer your question about the extra 3%.
Haven't looked at ASX:EMR for a while, I hold this one, might be worthwhile keeping an eye on the 0.84c - 0.90c range if it falls that far.
A lot of hype around ICL and SNG at the moment. Director buying tonnes of shares for both on market. Both might pull back a bit on the wait for news. Research required.
Any love for SVY
What do you know about it?
If the fundies check out I'd be thinking looking at the 51c - 66c price range as far as getting some confidence that the SP is moving in the right direction and that the recent slide may have corrected.
Off the top of my head nothing,
I remember reading some results maybe last year but didn't like the price. Just saw it had slipped quite a bit and they're raising cash with options so wanted to see what others thought.
very nice bounces today, flip into crypto? head hurts crunching numbers
Zenith Minerals (ASX:ZNC) plan to demerge their precious and base metals assets and spin-off a new company, subject to regulatory etc approval with a likely in-specie distribution back to shareholders. Red Mountain gold is south of where I live in an historical gold producing area around Cracow and Mount Rawdon. Split Rocks gold is in WA. Keep an eye out for news around this proposal as there may be some potential here.
The existing company will then concentrate on their lithium projects having signed a JV with EV Metals operating in Saudi Arabia developing a battery chemicals plant.
This is mainly about the lithium venture:
This one is more focused on their precious/base metals exploration:
Their copper assets Snook and Develin Ck are just up the road from me north of Rockhampton.
Rebalanced a bit today, sold off few positions and slowly moving more into crypto. See how we go.
Catching a falling knife IMO.
I have said for ages there is too much political risk....... looks to be coming true.
Spend 3 years speaking with the smartest ppl, researching and finding every reason under the sun why it's going to fail, so you may be right... I could be wrong but still I've placed my bets and comfortable with holding, will be interesting how it all plays out. If goes wrong, I lose but will live on, if I'm right, then I don't need to be right ever again.
Same with any market, look at the share market, RE market for investors, regular business operators eg the fishing industry, vaping (you name it) impacted by government policy on environmental and social measures. Fluctuations in the crypto market just happen to be magnified. You play the political risk for the upside and suffer the risk on the downside.
WAF such a quality goldie, just in a terrible jurisdiction... Burkina Faso's army ousted president Roch Kabore, suspended the constitution, dissolved the government and the national assembly, and closed the borders.
Welcome to Africa.
