    Anybody used these guys?

They accept funds via POLI which is good and quick!

I see they require ID verification before "withdrawals" are allowed...

Does that just mean cashing out your account balance?

Or does this include downloading bitcoins/litecoins purchased on the site to your paper wallet???

I've used them a bit - have not withdrawn cash from them though.

Can you download your bitcoins purchased to your paper wallet without supplying ID first?

will all respect my friend..you need to do some work like most others here and do some research yourself!..How about we just open an account for you and buy some LTCs for you too???

..don't be lazy..that's the best way to lose money!

everything you need to know is on the net..you need to do research yourself to get your own understanding otherwise your just getting 'opinions and assumptions' make your own!

    best of luck!

I prefer and would trust the opinions and advice of stackers on this forum rather than what is generally found on the net.

wow! is this what this forum is coming to??

For your information - I've done plenty of research on the net the past few days and i've learned a hellova lot!
But certain facts are being purposefully withheld by these trading sites / exchanges and i cannot get a bluddy straight answer out of any of them!

I'm asking some really simple questions which can only be answered by people who have been through the purchasing process already - which appears to be a whole lot of people!

Surely somebody is prepared to share his/her experience with me?

Once your purchase bitcoins, you can send them freely to any address.
ID requirements are needed only when interfacing with your bank account as in putting money in the exchange from your bank account or cashing from the exchange to your bank account.
Bitcoins themselves can move freely to wherever you want them to go / this includes your paper wallet.

I couldn't move btc, ltc or aud until I was verified. Found this out the hard way when I wanted to transfer btc.

Btcmarkets.net - I was trying to transfer btc to BTCe and I couldn't until I was verified. Once I was verified it still took an hour or so for the transfer to show up on BTCe. Is that normal from other users experiences going between exchanges? I assumed it would be a lot quicker.

I have not had to give BTCe any information to withdraw/ deposit crypto currencies. I guess the nice thing about being verified with one is having a place to withdraw aud. obviously not good if you want to stay anonymous.

I'd buy a BTCe voucher f2f (forum) then use that. Then sell btc f2f to keep it off the grid?

    What about Coinjar ??

Do they also require ID in order to transfer bitcoins to your own paper wallet?

How it generally works is that when you send btc to an address, it will more or less instantly pick that up. Every exchange is different though and some may not inform you it's arrived at all until that transaction recieves, for example, 6 confirmations on the Bitcoin network. On BTC-e as an example, you can refresh on the deposit page and it will update how many confirmations you have.

Generally with exchanges they tell you it's arrived straight away, but you have to sit around waiting for "x" confirmations to arrive before they can feel absolutely safe that you're not trying to hack/scam them, and let you spend the money on their site. I think on BTC-e they make you wait 3 days after signing up before you can withdraw btc now? After that it's "quick".

If you've sent BTC somewhere and nothing seems to be happening, the first thing to do is go to www.blockchain.info and enter in the transaction id in the search. If you have no idea what that is, just enter in the address that you sent the btc to.

You should see your recent transactions there, and can see how many confirmations have arrived. Sometimes there can be bottlenecks in the Bitcoin system so confirmations can kind of get clogged up for a while, and yes, it can take an hour or more sometimes for 6 confirmations to arrive. Usually it's much quicker, or the site is less demanding of how many confirmations are required, or sometimes there are no confirmations required.

Good luck man. It sounds ridiculous but it works. :)

With Coinjar you have to verify your phone number when you sign up I think? But otherwise, there's no id demands before withdrawing btc.

Exchanges will await confirmations (usually 6) from the network before accepting the transfer as valid and the coins available for trading. Smaller exchanges may also have a manual approval component - particularly on withdrawals.

Moving coins in and out of exchanges is not as quick as moving between non-exchange wallets.

I guess bitcoin is not as anonymous as i first thought...

The gubmint still has its nose in the trough and can keep complete control, which is rather disappointing...
