    King GEORGIUS IV (1820 - 1830)

    1826 United Kingdom Penny

    Minted: London
    Size: 34 mm
    Mintage: approx. 5,913,600 ( semi-scarce , even with this Mintage )
    Scarcity: semi-scarce

The reverse shows Britannia seated facing right,
holding a trident, hand resting on a shield.
The legend reads 'BRITANNIAR: REX FID:
DEF:', with a rose, thistle, and shamrock below.

This one still worth about $50.00

    Found during some excavation works.
