Week old data from 1600 people, what was the YouGov poll position on the vote again ? A Remain win if I recall correctly.

And Irish passport searches go up 100% of what ? 3 or 10 ?

What are Scotland and Ireland going to do, set forth on their own into the demonstrated failure of the EU taking Gibraltar and the Orkney's with them? ROFLMAO

Potato's and Oil with a few Dory and Haddock thrown in for good measure ? Lol Fish and Chip's is about all they have to offer without the U.K standing with them.

The EU is now officially Kaput, This is but the first domino to fall and the rest of the rotting Zombie corpse will not be far behind, Germany is the only mainstay left and Merkel is
political toast at the next election.

Ole Margie is very underrated, she had more balls and brains than nearly the whole left bench in that Vid.

Not a joke but I'm not a punter sorry.

    But :

Will the United Kingdom allow Scotland to leave the Union? In this poll, Scotland was pretty clear it wanted to remain in the EU and now Scotland is calling for another referendum to exit the Union and become an independent country which will then apply to enter the EU.

Once the Union is broken, Wales would likely be close behind Scotland. As a lot of polls have shown, the youth is for EU, the oldies for UK. Now that the party is over, the next campaigns will be hammering the young people for their votes.

The EU already has a track record of repeating these sort of opinion polls until the 'right' result is achieved. The government could claim low turnout, floods stopped people voting etc and have another one once the 'leave' case was no longer front page news.

So overall, I'll believe it when I see it.

p.s. they could always line up 20 or so kamikaze politicians to cross the floor and discard the referendum. It is Parliament that makes the decision and I'd think it wouldn't be hard to find a few Pollies with rent boys, or KGB connections to run around the chamber when needed.

Jules ? Really ? You of all people are following polls now ? Wales voted overwhelmingly OUT on all demographics so what makes you think they will follow Scotland who only less than two years ago voted to stay with the U.K ?
The Poll you are referring to RE: The youth want the EU is a complete sham done by YouGov, A Govt site ? and is representative of only 1600 people done weeks before the poll. Seriously you buy this ?

What does Scotland have to offer the EU without the UK ? OIL ? They can get that shite anywhere (done in my best Scottish accent Billy Connolly style). Sheep ? they can get better from Aus, or Argentina, or anywhere.

But let's get back to what the "polls" said a couple pf day's or a week ago said. EVERYTHING was pro Remain in the mainstream, but do you remember a bloke you put me onto a few years ago now ? Nadeem_Walayat picked it to within a few pips days and weeks ago consistently.

What or where will Scotland go to in the EU? Running to the EU now is like a Lamb running towards a Wolf. Do you think that the UK will not close it's borders or not negotiate trade if
their near neighbours in the end go with the EU ? Give it some thought.

Scotland, Northern Ireland, London and younger Brits will break away from the United Kingdom and rejoin the EU. This could open up a chance for the Remain camp to call for another referendum to decide on breaking up the United Kingdom. If the referendum succeeds, they'll say that keeping the UK together is more important so let's just forget about breaking away from the EU!

You have never seen an Orange Day parade then.... basically a bunch of knuckle dragging muppets get together, burning large stacks of pallets, tyres and Irish flags claiming "its their right to do so as its their heritage", This is after a stroll through "enemy territory" riling up the natives....Thankfully they are a minority.

To be fair those of us from Australia or New Zealand or the USA can not understand these peoples heritage as ours is only a few hundred years old and the Scots Irish and English have TRUE history and TRUE long standing grievances from over 1000 (THOUSAND) years ago.

"the Scots Irish and English have TRUE history and TRUE long standing grievances from over 1000 (THOUSAND) years ago."

One of the basic weaknesses of the EU, all different languages, all different histories, and 2000 years of wars, massacres, and grievances that are handed down from generation to generation.

    They all HATE each other!

  19. Wow! You remember Culloden too? You sure are an old codger. :D

My take on this would be; to learn from the past is to progress toward enlightenment, to perpetually dwell on the grudges of the past is to doom us to repeating the mistakes of the past and is regressive.
