US$666 now, I'm guessing it will stop here around the $660 level for a little while now (couple of weeks) doubt I'm gonna complain though if it presses on sooner
The funny thing is that many people following charts and bitcoin predicted this move up yet I bet you will see some idiot on main-stream media in the next couple of weeks claiming, "Brexit causes Bitcoin to surge to new highs" And majority of people will probably just buy into that as well, majority of people just want a simple explanation to why something has already occurred so you can just connect whatever dots together you want post event and most people will accept it as truth
Nah no complaints, may still lag around for a bit in high 600's but if it breaks US$700 then I think it's gonna go nuts. I still think it will pause here and return to $660 for a while but whatever happens from here it's all fun times ahead
I think they're finally found a way to get all their money out. Don't foresee this rise stopping anytime soon. Crazy times.
Came back down to US$662.80 and heading up again, hard to say if it will be this weekend or next weekend to get moving again
Agree, will be choppy for a while until it breaks 700 and finds support but then will be off into the thousands
Didn't see this before... ...but, yes, I was waiting for a dip though I wasn't expecting such a big overshoot and so much volatility. I'm waiting for some consolidation now and I'm in no hurry to buy back in while the price action is like this. My funds have been moved off the bitcoin exchange and are put to use elsewhere at the moment.
Well here we are. I wasn't really sure what to expect. Maybe this is it. $600-ish becomes the new baseline and it all comes in without any of the predicted fanfare...
I'll make a post halving prediction here. Luckily the price of BTC held up during the halving which is a massive achievement, so from here onwards $650-$600 is a fair range, and then gradual drift up to $800 during the rest of 2016 (since $750+was hit during the pre halving period)
