Hey, did anyone else pay a visit to the Perth Mint today?

Just wondering what you made of the pallets (7 or 8 layers high) of 1000oz bars waiting to be picked up in the vault foyer?

They were lined up down the left wall when looking out. Maybe they were going for melting into product, maybe they were being delivered to a big investor, or maybe they were going to cover the LBMA, but there were a lot of them.

I didn't count them all, but they were all lined up. I actually went over and had I look on my way out because I had never seen so much silver in one place.

I don't mean I was wondering around freely, I was being escorted out and made a detour to have a look when I noticed them. There were lots.

    Hi, Silver Stackers,

I would be very grateful to those of you who lives in the vicinity of the Perth, Australia and who knows the area well enough to suggest where is the best place to hide some PM. I mean to bury in the bushes in a secluded enough area.

    Thanks.

Thanks for your kind offer. Maybe next time.

At this point I am more interested in some general information about the area around the Perth.

Precise GPS will be determined later.

What an odd request. Why not your backyard in the middle of 'somewhere'?

This particular PM is in Perth.

"Somewhere" is in some other part of the globe. There is some other PM hidden there.

    It is all about diversification.

So let me get this right. You want someone from this forum to give you geographical info on where to hide a stash of PM in some patch of scrub around Perth because you're not familiar with the area and you want to go and bury your stash there and you're quite happy for them to publicise this on a forum because you believe it will deliver you greater security?

You're not from around here are you?

I think you misinterpreted 'geographical diversification'

I am not familiar with the area. That's tight.

I am trying to ascertain some general information about it. Not about some particular spot.

Do you think that to know that some where in an area 100 x 100 miles there is a buried treasure is to know anything actionable?
I am quite sure that in any random taken squire of this size there are more than a dozen of treasures hidden somewhere.

You could use Google Maps with Street View to get an idea of the areas around Perth.

    Thank you.

I will do that AFTER I have some idea where in general to look in.

Anyway I am looking for some wilderness. Really outside of a town or a city.

Mate, it's a mining state with an active metal detectoring population that are out every weekend gold fossicking - I wouldn't bury anything of value anywhere in the state. Wouldn't last long.
