Oh looky looky... BGS and Randgold enter assay database agreement (!) Hence the action today - lots of sellers took advantage - seems to be an easy day trade (for some) for now http://www.eagleeyemetals.com/pdfs/BirimianAndRandgoldExplorationDatabaseAccessAgreement26Mar13.pdf
I'm really really liking this mob now, got in at .016 last week out today at .031 and then doubled up this arvo at 027 based on the news today with Rangold. couldn't believe my luck when it dropped further than expected. This is looking sweet as.
Just on the relationship between the two here imo it's got to be a strong possibility that Randgold will open up Ntiola - which would be the best news that could possibly be to fast track a $20M mkt cap to a $80-100M+ mkt cap. We also need inferred + a confirmation of tot resources there asap - I think Morila was 6Moz wasn't it? http://www.randgoldresources.com/randgold/content/en/randgold/home
Things hotting up on the Hotcopper boards re BGS & Randgold ( http://hotcopper.com.au/search_do.asp?fid=1&symbol=4254 ) - some interesting theories as to what happens next. Ntiola is the closest location to Morila - which was scoped at one time by Randgold, then they sold the rights, and now BGS sidles-up to the company that gave away the prospect - remarkable, but true. That added to the fact that Randgold've opened up their assay databases to BGS suggests to me a jv is on the cards - and soon - Morila must close in 2013 - any ramp-up to production on Ntiola would have to start in the next few months. The grades thus far from Ntiola are way better than initial grades at Morila ever were too... For Randgold it's a no-brainer imo. Dyor. Best of luck this week
Randgold on MSN: "We continue to explore aggressively across West and Central Africa's most prospective gold belts. We're also looking to expand our footprint there through joint ventures with junior exploration companies, some of whom hold good assets but are unable to develop them in a stressed market" http://money.msn.com/business-news/article.aspx?date=20130328&feed=MW&id=16289178 Randgold Annual Report 28/3/13: http://www.marketwatch.com/story/randgold-resources-well-placed-for-further-growth-2013-03-28 "Looking for JVs, acquisitions, new exploration targets"
might see where this bottoms out before i top up, got a feeling it might get back down lower than 1.5, long term i see its potential , but imo might not see 2c again until next lot of positive news
Trading halt today, whats everyone's thoughts on this, rangold coming to the party? This can roll either way guess we will know soon
Cap raising via placement - something's up - they don't need to operate - Randgold fits that bill - keep the mkt on its toes eh?! Featured on PI today: http://www.proactiveinvestors.com.au/companies/news/42239/birimian-gold-heads-to-market-42239.html
Nearly 2 mil in the kitty and much better options for cap raising closer to drill results, share price has held up despite current slaughter all over the miners and explorers market. Heres hoping Randgold is taking a stake. Still a great story even if they aren't yet.
Now that'd be nice to see Sprott, Rogers, Morgan, Embry, Sinclair, Mobius, Faber forming a consortium for some of these junior goldies wouldn't it?
OMG! I thought you were joking! Macquarie are in there already too don't forget... Turtle me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I just checked out the convo at HC... remarrrrrrkable! http://hotcopper.com.au/search_do.asp?fid=1&symbol=4254
BGS are looking sweet as, tomorrow should be interesting once the yanks wake up to the news and BGS is seen for what it is. Then there are the drilling results still to come and Randgold still to come and don't forget that massigui is not the only play they have going on at the moment and and and. Sooo glad I doubled up just before the TH
More v interesting observations on HC re Sprott, Randgold... http://hotcopper.com.au/post_single.asp?fid=1&tid=1987348&msgid=11648598
Very exciting day, without getting carried away, how high could this go? Too many variables of course, however if the drilling results are just as good, does the size of the company somehow limit where this share price can go? Cheers for any insight.
