Well I considered that as well, but thought I'd ask in case I've missed something obvious.

If that's the case, you're better off hitting up the coins right now.

1.4% for coins over base metal is very attractive for the coins IMHO.

Usually coin prices do take longer to 'react' to big price moves - this is a really dramatic example though.

Also..maybe we're starting to see the breakdown of premiums on larger coins.

Ebay is looking at prices per ounce around $40 - $45.... I buy any major amounts through Ainslie Bullion or ABC Sydney but ebay is and still be a bit of fun to get a few coins here and there as long as you are sensible...and its just addictive too... just brought a Transformer 1 oz coin for my son, he is taking an interest in coins now.

Even the PAMP bar is very cheap NO?

I purchased one about 3 weeks ago and I am waiting for delivery, due mid March. I also purchased some bunnies and ASE during the dip for roughly $31.5/oz from bullion bourse and that went A ok.

Or more likely because bullion bars have become flavour of the month and present solid hits on google searches, sellers are cashing in on the increased interest.

I remember the 1966 debacle on on SS only too well in that regard.

I would say again that silver is silver and whilst there are those that will pay a premium for premium product, it's important to constantly keep an eye on the market and seek best bang for buck options.

If we're currently seeing bars selling for only 1.4% below premium coins, it's absolutely time to start considering the switch play and pick up your premiums for next to nothing.

I love PAMP and PM bars, but if you can nail a hummer for only 1.4% more, you'd be mad not to consider it.
