    For comparison, a Russian dashcam compilation. Speed seems to be a much bigger factor. Note that there are some very lucky pedestrians in this one, but no fatalities according to the description.

    The Russian dashcam footage is always crazy. There's a clip somewhere of a minor bump and a bunch of guys get out of one of the cars, pull out guns and start shooting at the other car as it drives away.

    Got a dash cam for Christmas, have just read the instructions and put it in the car, been meaning to do it for a while, thanks.

    Mostly so I can win arguments against my wife by playing the footage back to a third party and seeing if they think I was driving like a maniac and nearly got her killed.

    It has been ten years now, I am sure if my driving was actually dangerous we would be dead by now.

    September compilation. Many incredible idiots in this one running red lights and demonstrating other stupidity. I've noticed quite a bit more of this behavior in Sydney recently.

    I heard the main reason why so many Russians have dash cameras is because the insurance companies there will not pay unless there is video footage of the crash.

    I just noticed most of the best aussie cam captures are in perth lol

    I sold my motorbikes as it just isnt worth the high risk of riding in perth any more :(

    I did some work in an insurance office for a few days sorting old claims. I collapsed in giggles at one that more or less said:

    "I nosed the car out on to the highway because I can't see from my driveway and a truck came out of nowhere and smashed the front of my car off.

    He didn't even slow down or try to miss me."
