Aussie share market on track for worst day of the year

THE sharemarket is headed for its biggest fall of the year as investors worry about weak global economic growth.
Australia's benchmark share index, the ASX 200, fell about 1.8 per cent in early trade following heavy falls in international markets overnight.
Late this morning, it was down 1.7 per cent 87.6 points putting it on track for the worst day so far this year.
The heaviest fall was in March, when it fell 1.54 per cent in one session.
Today's falls comes after the market recorded its biggest rise in almost two months yesterday amid signs that interest rates would be kept low in the US.
However rates were still expected to rise in the first half next year, undermining the appeal of shares, IG market strategist Stan Shamu said.
"There is a massive unwind with global growth concerns, the US starting to tighten, Europe is in a very bad place and Abenomics (Japan's economic policy) is not working either," he said.
The biggest falls are in resources stocks, with oil prices tumbling overnight amid weak economic figures out of Germany.

Sold my origin shares on the rebound yesterday. 20% increase in about 15 months. Unfortunately another stock went in to a loss and another reached my stop loss and sold at -15% today.
