And the Australian government STILL refuses to crack down on the largest avenue for money laundering in Australia. For some reason, politicians continually refuse to require that the real estate industry be subject to AUSTRAC reporting requirements on cash transactions.

This dwarfs the risks with online gambling, $100 notes and whatever else the government has turned its attention to recently.

I got a friend that lost his house and everything else to online poker. He then lost his job (due to depression from loss of house) and now he lives renting a room in a share house gambling his disability pension still on online poker. A sad case just like many others.

Sorry to hear that. There are some real horror stories. No offence, but to me that sort of compulsive/destructive gambling is a form of mental illness. Until we recognise and treat it is such it is always going to be a problem.

I think this has been on the books for a good long while.
For many years i used to do all my betting at Centrebet which is an Australian outfit but around 5-6 years ago the shutdown the casino and poker side and only did sports betting .
I left them after many years with them as i like to play poker and pokies sometimes.
I am now with bet365 and have to say the service is outstanding and the withdrawls only take 1.5 days to appear in your bank and then 1.5 days to clear (yes it is silly) but on the grand scheme these times are very reasonable compared to other sites.
Just for a plug bet365 has an awesome array of games on pokies and lots of different poker formats and the sports list of live game is HUGE.
They also allow you to run multibets and cashout the bet at anytime ie: bet on 3 soccer games and 2 have already won then you do not have to wait for the last game to finish and you can cashout the wins from the first 2.

I like poker cause if you want to just gamble for profit, the better method would be playing PVP games such as Poker where you can actually make a profit since there is no house edge, that is purely depending on your talent level versus everyone elses. I usually play on sandscasino

What about some free video slots, guys? Do you like playing those online? Is it legal? I would like to try some out soon, and I am not sure whether I can. I would like to get any tips from you here

Poker is known to be a game that requires skills and experience. I don't consider myself to be an expert, though I play it online now and then. From my own experience I can say that it is important to choose a proper site. By the way, there is a good source https://gamblingchief.com that provides me with the information about bonuses and ratings of the most popular gambling sites. And I should say, I've found much useful info here. Thanks, guys!
