G'day Stackers, And now for something completely different Disclaimer : It's really REALLY not the time to be selling silver gold but circumstances dictate otherwise help a fellow Stacker fund his rather quickly planned impending nuptials in Bali (in 3 weeks time ) On offer here are a couple of very interesting, and very rare, historic gold pieces. 2 * Hutt River Province - "One Sovereign" 8.04gm coins, 2 * Hutt River Province - $100 coins (8.44gms) and 1 * 1985 UNC $200 Carded Koala From what I can glean, the 2 * "Sovereigns" are pure gold (.999) and minted by Johnson Matthey (Mintage not stated, but believed to be ~1000!), while the 2 * $100 coins are also pure gold (.999) but from the Canadian Lombardo Mint, and each have a mintage of only 500!!! The 1985 UNC Carded Koala was the first with the new Raphael Maklouf portrait of the Queen and comes with all the packaging Source - There is some great history and backstory to the Principality as well, quite an achievement... Also here the official webpage of the Principality (which unfortunately is now closed, as of 31st January 2020...I blame Covid ) Thumbnail images - Click for Full-Size Auction finish at 17:00 AWST (18:30 NT & SA/19:00 QLD/NSW/VIC) - Wednesday 7th...Tomorrow Night!!! *No edited Bids, please the Forum does indicate "edited" when posts are edited (look above the "Quote Reply" right hand side) so if you make a bid and it turns out the same or lower than a previous bid please place a new post for the bid to make it higher rather than "edit" the post with the unsuccessful bid - although editing to clarify a Lot # is fine * Due to no "seconds" showing on Forum time-clock any duplicate bids with the same timestamp will be "first in line" gets the spot Each Lot Starting at.....~SPOT price!!!
