I might have missed something along the way, however, if I were to include images in a forum post how would I do it?

Take the photo, or have the photo on file !
Then, send it to yourself as a sms
Then save the photo from sms
Then find the saved sms and put in a personal photo album within phone gallery
Then hit "Upload a file" from this site, at bottom of page.
Choose between thumbnail, or full size
    Then be amazed !

    Works for me :)
    Better than downloading an "app"

Yes, select “upload a file” next to Post button. I find I have to crop images to get them smaller so they load.

Put the image you want to post into M.S. PAINT Save As a JPEG to your Desktop, then (below) your comment select Upload a file select your file name & click it.
Then usually down below your image Click Full Image & post it.

One can also "right mouse click" copy and paste right into the post being written too.

That little "doodah" is a silver trinkit, our friend, had up for grabs on a barter thread a while back.
Where he found it, only he knows, but somewhere in his travels.
Dunno how he does it actually !

Thanks for this post, very helpful.

My android phone doesn't seem to have the "upload a file" button in a PM conversation. Is there a way to upload files directly in PM's?

I've looked around when I sent a couple of PM's from my Windows 10 Desktop & I don't think you can even put a link to an article.
You may be able to persuade somebody to give you their email no & do it that way.
