    Hi

After a couple of months waiting, although it feels much longer, I've finally got the results of my first NGC submission

    Results are

    2011 MS69 http://www.ngccoin.com/certlookup/CertResults.aspx?CertNumber=3681263-001
    2010 MS69 http://www.ngccoin.com/certlookup/CertResults.aspx?CertNumber=3681263-002
    1996SD MS69 http://www.ngccoin.com/certlookup/CertResults.aspx?CertNumber=3681263-003
    1996SD MS70 http://www.ngccoin.com/certlookup/CertResults.aspx?CertNumber=3681263-004
    1996SD MS69 http://www.ngccoin.com/certlookup/CertResults.aspx?CertNumber=3681263-005
    1993LD Frosted MS69 http://www.ngccoin.com/certlookup/CertResults.aspx?CertNumber=3681263-006
    1991SD MS68 http://www.ngccoin.com/certlookup/CertResults.aspx?CertNumber=3681263-007

A big thank you to Yennus, who kindly sold me the first 5 coins in the list, including, and I'm struggling to believe this one, the MS70 1996SD (apparently this is only the 7th to be graded MS70)

I'm also chuffed about the 1993LD Frosted, now all I have to do is wait for them to make it back through Customs, i.e. fill out a dozen forms, etc.. so I should have them back in time for Christmas

Anyway thanks for looking and this is the end of my first & last, first NGC submission thread. I'm now going to have a couple of celebratory drinks or maybe 7 :)

Thanks everyone, much appreciated. Although I would say beginners luck and skilful coin picking by yennus.

Don't worry JC8-8 I'm not disappointed by the 1991, looking at the pics there could be some rim damage at 9 o'clock on the Panda side, which I think I caused by poor packing... lesson learned

My wife came home after I posted my results:-

    I explained I got a MS70 1996SD... blank look
I explained this was only the 7th 1996SD to be graded @ MS70... blank look
I explained what it might be worth... she wants a new watch

Congrats Reggie. I know that feeling of waiting and waiting for coins/medals to be graded at ngc. Feels like forever

Well if yennus is willing to hand pick a bunch of OMP 1997SDs, like he did with the 1996SDs, I'll certainly take a few of his hands for grading (and I should imagine most of the forum will as well :) ). Although I'm not fussy, 1998 or 1999's will do just as well :)

On paper; I've made one heck of a return on my short time investing-in\collecting Pandas. I was really lucky to stumble upon this forum.

Point taken about the Panda Tax, very sound advice, a new watch it is.

For us non-pandaphiles, does anyone want to hazard a guess at what these are worth with the gradings received?

It's difficult to say, there's not much price history for the MS70 1996SD (The other Pandas are listed in yennus's sales thread, http://forums.silverstackers.com/topic-30563-sell-trade-yennus-panda-ngc-bullion-masterlist.html, which I've been drooling over for the past few days :) ).

Pricepedia shows a couple of MS70 1996SD's going for an avg of $1400 last December, and Fishball's Pandastats lists an eBay sale of a PCGS MS70 going for $1600 in May.
