In a nutshell: Woolworths is divesting its:
    • alcohol retail division (BWS and Dan Murphys)
    • ALH Hospitality (Pokies licenses)
The spun-off entity will be known the Endeavour Group and will be separated listed on the ASX200 in calendar year 2020.

Woolworths official position is letting Endeavour and ALH go is rather to 'focus on its core retail business in fresh foods and groceries'.

    Your thoughts?

From a fundamentals stand-point, I like Endeavour's medium-term prospects as a potential dividend aristocrat with it's alcohol retail and pokies licenses businesses.
