Error in coin might generate a premium value in the future due to scarcity.

This type of innovation should see them sit well with investors and collectors alike. i want a tube of the 1, 1/2, and 1/4's... love the big stuff also but can live without the bulky packaging as space is a premium - as much as a love em.

These are near the top of my list.. somali elephants and taku just got knocked off.

    Guys,

Want your opinion although they seem to be very positively received here.

My usual small Euro dealer is doing the new 1 oz 2012 at $31 AUD. Do you think this is a better buy than most other potential semi numi play bullion coins at present?

I'm chewing with picking up a few. 2011's are $41. Would this be worth the extra?

If you like em i would... i think $31 is an outstanding price.. id gobble a decent amount up.. we can get the 2011's here for around $34 id expect 2012 to be a similar price.

    cheers,

    just ordered some of the 2011 1/2oz , 2011 1/4oz, & a 2011 1oz for good measure.

also grabbed a couple 2012 1/4oz to keep them company.

i really like the tubes they package them in...i always try not to get sucked into packaging because i know its all about the coin but those tubes and boxes are nice. i also got a box to keep a small part of my collection.

Personally, I like Somalia elephant bullion coins better. They are lovely, and different design each year.

Are there currently any dealers selling the 2012 1oz version? It seems like most of them only have the 2011 version at the moment...

Yes they do and they are nice.
Nearly every single 1oz coin we got in the sun was scratched. At least you know its original.
Some big stuff in the pipelines from the Armenian central bank at the moment, keep an eye out for new items in the future.
The 5kg would make a wicked pendent.

I would be not good idea to sell bigger coin without capsules. So only 1 oz 1/2 1/4 come without it. Im interested in 5 oz and 10 oz version. I checked youtube there is no people owning this bigger ones. Hm not yet.

The 1/4oz, 1/2oz and 1oz come in vacuum sealed tubes of 20 coins and the 5oz, 10oz, 1kg and 5kg come in individual capsules.

The 5kg has a weird double-holder so the coin in the centre of an oversized capsule. I think it's to secure it in the box properly because the 5kg box is the same dimensions as the 500x 1oz monster box.

@ Thatguy - can lock you in when ready lol, we do actually have pricing for them!

    For Joker77
    1/4 oz 20mm dia
    1/2 oz 27.2mm dia
    1 oz 38.5mm dia
    5 oz 60.15mm dia
    10oz 75.5mm dia
