    Hi guys
Just a quick question to see what lengths you all go to to get your silver fix.
I know I hate waiting for my next delivery to turn up.
What have you done? Or gone with out? To get the next piece of shiney stuff in your hands.

It is not an addiction, I can quit anytime I want, I just don't want to for the next 25 years. ;)

missed out on... haircuts, new clothes, stopped buying razors and just used the clippers, can count the number of big nights out on one hand, probably gone out for the same amount of restaurant dinners. I tried to quit smoking a few times chasing a few extra ounces, but failed at that. with the price dropping it took nerves to keep on buying, i needed to keep smoking, maybe if it keeps going up i can think about quitting :p.. i'd rather buy ounces i could keep anyways :p

Hi, I'm Caput L and I'm addicted to silver. It's been 5 days since I got my last fix and I'm starting to get the twitches. I once was so desperate for some silver I sucked the silver alloy out of a used urinary catheter.

Hi. My name is Freddy, I'm a silver addict and I'm grateful to be here. The only thing that keeps me from relapsing back into my silver addiction is this fellowship and the twel...
Oh, wait... I've got a paid order in shipping that'll be here in a day or two and my LCS is holding another pile for me, so I guess I never was on the wagon in the first place.

Oh, well -- forget it. Time to check spot and see if anybody's got free shipping this week.

I may be developing some symptoms.
I leave the computer on at night on the live silver price, if I wake up at 3 or 4am I look at the spot price.
When it says 'market closed' on Sundays I feel a bit sad and sunday afternoon look at coins and sellers sites online.
I said to myself not to buy at the moment but I spent a few hundred dollars on sunday.
Now I find out there are 10 Zombucks coming out, each one at 3 month intervals, well that's locked me in to some more buys!
Then there is Year of the Horse coming up soon and who knows what else from Perth Mint in the pipeline.
I've got most of my 1 kilos now, (unless spot goes down to AU$20 again...) and I'm just buying more 1oz coins and rounds (a conundrum, it is 'averaging up') .

Not at all. I'd switch to powdered milk if I thought I could make 20% in a month.

It's more having assets instead of promises that I like. I chosed silver for market reasons, not for the metal itself. If I would ignore market differences, I'd buy gold silver platina copper porcelain dolls and whatever. Basically I ceased using the bank savings method. The rest I see as aside.
Btw I collect porcelain dolls too haha. First as investment (got a bunch very cheap) then I found them a good house decoration and now I have about 50.
I consider silver as just another such asset pile.

    Not anymore.

I get addicted to things easy, and silver was no exception, but when the addiction costs a lot of money I generally back off a lot!

You should try meth then given your addictive personality I am sure that will work out

  19. No problem, I'm using gold to slowly wean myself off the stuff.

Going gold turkey. Ah, I crack myself up.
