Just curios if anyone else mining? I started a couple months ago, so far it has been fun but not convinced it is worth it yet. Mainly wanted to give it a go to support the networks of my favorite coins. If you've been mining how has your experience been so far?
crazy expensive power prices prevent us from mining in oz. what kind of rig do you have? asic or a few cards?
What's power costs like in oz? From what I understand everything is insanely expensive. 3x Bitmain S9 Asics, 2 GPU Rigs with 10x 1080ti's total. Have an Bitmain A3 Asic in the mail too. Power is costing me roughly $500 USD a month, making roughly $80USD a day. At this rate roughly 8 months to break even, probably a better investment to just hold the cryptos. Worst case the GPU's can still be sold, I run them really light
its still profitable even in Oz, I pay 0.28c kw/h I have 10 x 580s and 2 x 570's 10 1080ti s and 2 x 1070's been mining and adding to the rigs since may last year.
