    I will be doing a 20min presentation on factors driving the gold price. I was also thinking of doing a masterclass on some more advanced topics, say backwardation. Any interest in a longer session? Any topics you would like discussed?

    I note that on 22nd July Jim Sinclair said that "because of the continued fall in gold inventory that within in 90 days or sooner the Comex must change its delivery mechanism.The highest probability is that Comex will have to move to cash settlement rather than gold. ... There is no reason why gold cannot move up hundreds of dollars a day when the Comex changes their spot contract settlement ..."     90 days from 22 July is 20 Oct, the last day of the show, so maybe the masterclass can be on how Comex has moved to cash settlement (or not)?

    Thank You for that Bron, I will definitely attend your presentation on the gold price and any other topics.

    All I need now from mrs bloomst is a 3 day pass...I think I might hold a Tupperware party next month :D

    I've decided to go with "Gold Confiscation In Australia"

    Synopsis: Few precious metal investors are aware that the legislation that restricted the freedom of Australian residents to own, buy and sell gold in Australia is still on the books and is currently just "suspended" from operation. In this talk Bron will history of gold controls in Australia, how the suspended legislation works and to what forms of gold it applies, and whether confiscation is likely to occur again in Australia.

    Maybe I should do a presentation after Bron...on how to bury metals in your back yard or how to have a boating accident?

    I can see the puzzled look of audience ater GS present on Stacking 101, then Bron talking about metals confistication? :cool:

    Hallelujah! I've been talking about Part IV of the Banking Act 1959 (to anyone who will listen) for the last two years. To hear Bron making it a presentation topic almost feel like vindication.

    Ben - my talk is at 1pm, yours and Ron's are beforehand.

    It is just a rehash of the stuff in my 2008 blogpost with some updated. My view is it is unlikely and even so far off given we as a country are is far better shape than the US and they haven't confiscated yet.

    I would be most interested, as I'm sure many stackers here will be, to see the presentations made by Bron & the GS team, unfortunately, making it to Melbourne will be impossible.

    This is a round-about way of seconding the request to have these presentations recorded and uploaded to Youtube et al, if possible and allowed by ANDA please :)
