Ainsley now charging annual fee for 'Allocated'

    Don't think this has been posted yet.

    Received this the other day in my inbox;

    Gold Allocated $13/oz per year
    Silver Allocated $17/Kilo per year

    Silver Unallocated still no ongoing fees (minus their initial $10 per kg storage fee)

    Well I hope they use that extra revenue to train their staff in respect and courtesy (Brian and Geoff-if they're still there-don't count).

    Fees for 'allocated' are to be expected. Don't see what the issue is here.

    'unallocated' should be free to store. You pay your initial premium to get the metal, and that's it.

    I must be missing something here.

    They used to charge nothing for allocated gold. Account holders have a month to make alternative arrangements.
