    Hi all,

First post - I have been looking to add a bit more gold to my overweight silver position and wanted to get posters opinion on ABC Bullion. I usually stick to Perth mint for my coins and bullion but really like their 1/2 ounce gold cast bars ( which Perth doesn't offer).

Reason I ask is ABC bullion products do not appear to be sold at all of the larger dealers ( although most do) along with barely hearing their named mentioned on these forums has me slightly apprehensive about buying from their ( although they are accredited by LBMA for what its worth) .

I am looking at just buying and holding long term but obviously do not want any issues if I wish to sell along the way or in the future . Look forward to hearing other poster opinions,

Thanks - I have bought their from the past ( although not their stamped products ) and have found their prices very competitive. I'll sneak in one more question. Is the lack of 1/2 ounce gold cast bars an issues that I have overlooked and better off with the 1 ounce? As most others only offer only the minted at that size ( which is usually packaged) - I just personally prefer the ability to hold.

NO problem with the 1/2 oz cast.

Have recommended to Perth that they bring it back, but the refinery makes the cast products, and they only like pouring big bars for the Asian market.

Thanks for the feedback all, I actually picked up a handful of the 1/2 ounce bars the other day from the office. I love the look & feel of them. I am quite new to stacking and even though I can not deny that the minted coins have great detail and are easy on the eye to look at, there is a certain character to the cast bars that I love.

It seems there are two threads going on the same 1/2 oz Perth Mint biscuits - so here they are.

Was just looking at them at the other thread, in response to them not being at Gold stackers, it would
It would seem they just came out as they weren't advertised last week at Perth Mint ( as per my opening thread ) so am guessing will take a little before other dealers stock up.
