Well if the CFR is weighing in , perhaps I was wrong.

p.s. I still think he's incompetent but if he's annoying the CFR he must be doing something right.

Abbott is up with the best:

"It took an 85-year-old paedophile and our Prime Minister to dethrone Kyle Sandilands as Australia's most-hated public figure."

I reckon the LNP will knife Abbott soon and slot in a new leader before calling the next election.

Turnbull has suddenly been getting positive press for his utterings and opinions, but Bishop also looms large as the replacement. If they dont give Tony the shove, or they wait too long to do it, they probably dont want to win the next election. Especially if Turnbull becomes leader.

Word gets the forum blocked?? Wtf??? Not savvy ?

Edit. looked up story, No fucking way. How can they ban a word, what if we were debating the Catholic Church and there hobby? Or what pretty much all UK political system indulge in?? No pedo bear memes then?? Fuck me this country is a joke. It's a real problem but we just can't talk about it, that will solve the issue... How do they block it anyway? Not full secret banned list?

Could be due to automated block lists. Also, remember that section 313 of the Telecommunications Act is used to force ISPs to block websites when requested by a range of misc authorities (e.g. remember when ASIC inadvertently blocked 1200 websites in Australia.)

I'd prefer strong economic growth and a job rather than an increase in the price of silver.

I don't get the Ben cousins, brynn edelsten and Lara bingle bit. Maybe I'm to apathetic but I just think each to their own. If Lara wants to take lots of selfies that's okay, while I don't understand the need for selfies and wouldn't be interested in someone with that self interest, I don't look at her instagram account anyway. Brynn isn't in the papers etc anymore as far as i know and Ben is just a sad case of footballers getting to much money and not being able to handle the downtime and adulation.

You're on a private forum, on private property free speech doesn't exist. Suck it up.

It doesn't exist at all in Australia actually. There are certain things that are illegal to discuss on the internet in Australia.

And of course private companies and forums are free to implement censorship (my workplace, for example, has a secret list of words and phrases that cannot be used in communications, and multiple violations will result in disciplinary action or dismissal. I've been racking up some violations , lol.)
