    ASX: AAC in a nutshell, or to keep with the theme, inside of a regular-sized Stetson hat:
    Owns ~6.5 million hectares of cattle grazing station in Queensland and the Northern Territory
    ~500,000 heads of cattle
    Increasing % of revenue comes from selling packaged beef, rather than live cattle export

    Simple question: why did the value of the company jump up by almost 8% on Friday?

    I don't see any recent news items that'd provoke such a reaction. Is the market expecting AAC to be another takeover target by a foreign (likely Chinese) investor?

    Beef price + agri acreage = appeal to CN investors probably imo
