I'm sitting here looking at a bag of these coins I received along with another order (and I got the free folder too) and am wondering WTF I should actually do with them? It's just a bag of fifty cent coins, right? Is there any extra value to them?

Well that's the end of that then!

Just went to replace the packs I gave to the coin club members and they are no longer for sale on the website. I think I ended up buying four of each in the end but I have opened them all. Might have a spare bag lying around, I should probably check...

Lady at the RAM this morning said that the mintage for each of these will be 5 million.

$1 and $2 coming into circulation in September.

5 million, so that will drop the 2016 5 cent coin below the 1972??? From memory that was around 8 million.

Good to have a few of those set aside.

good to read that the 20 cent coins are out in circulation. More time to be searching through my change. lol. I've found quite a few 50 cent ones lately. They're a great find. And have set them aside too.

I'll have a look out in September for the $2 and $1 ones too.

    A belated Yes!

That is what I have done, I bought 4 bags of the $1 to make sure I had enough to go around the club members (I didn't) and I have just gone and bought 5 more orders of the $1 and $2 coins to cut down on postage a bit (and some of the other denominations because they are pretty much face value so why not?)

Still waiting on delivery, I normally get everything within two weeks. After three weeks waiting for the Olympics folders I sent them an email and they posted them the next day.

I may have to check my order for this lot, I put in several orders but there were only two items so there is no need for such a long delay.
