Personally that is the one size of Lunars I have 0 of , my favourite coin sizes are 2oz and 10oz in that order. I won't start a 5oz collection I collect too many coins as it is
I guess that's why the make 1/2, 1, 2, 5, 10, kilo...different strokes for different folks...I know lots of folks that love the 1/2, and have loaded up on them...and yet there seem to be lots that like 2 oz the best, and still others that like 5 oz...and I'm sure we'll get some in due time that swear by the 10 oz...and yes, even the kilos (me). LOL.
I also prefer the 5oz out of all the lunar sizes. Just the right size and diameter for a big coin imo.
Perth's only 5oz bullion coin. It's a no-brainer. Nice size coin, good re-sale, mintage is un-limited and declared mintages are reasonably low. And...they have an 8 dollar face value. 8 = good luck. Edit - Add video. Having said that, I think the 2014 Horse is going to have a very large "Declared" mintage. :|
