Well, I consider it a privilege because 99.9% of the population doesn't get to meet an active SAS soldier no matter what their purpose in life. My concept of privilege is not set in woke ideology but in experiences that are unique. Cancel me.

:) my reality is set by my first hand experiences, not some-one else's idealism (whether that be "privileged" or "woke" or something in-between). :) I've met and interacted with far more SAS soldiers than you've had wet dreams. And many associated "unique" experiences. Whether that provides me with reality to validate my opinion or not, likely depends upon whether I agree with you or not. Obviously I don't :) So feel free to "cancel me" in turn. As the great philosopher Spock would say, "live long and prosper". :) A little levity seemed in order.

No worries, I guess what I consider a privilege is a living nightmare for you, given that you've had to interact with so many humans that you consider 'murdering bastards'. In that case, I'd think the same!

:) "living nightmare" for me? LOL Your presumption only re-enforces my questioning your idealism of a "unique" experience.

Fair enough, I'm projecting how I would feel as an attempt to understand. If you want to diminish my experience and feelings to establish your own superiority on the matter, then you've accomplished it. I don't know if there are any prizes for you but hopefully you find them or are already 'there'..

Nope. Just adding a bit of balance to your apparent idealism of a person whose actions have likely impacted traumatically upon families for generations. If your feelings were hurt by that, then the harm to you is negligible by comparison. Have a think about it. By the way, I ain't "woke". :)

I must have made a mistake in conveying 'idealising'. I don't think I did... I don't think I do. But I take your point!

Quite a heated discussion here of late.

The one about the military and "murdering bastards" is an interesting one, that many people fail to grasp. Wokeness and political correctness have zero place in a well-functioning military. Whether these murderers can survive or be of any use in civilian society is another question. The fact is that police and army protect democratic rights, like being gay without persecution. But a lot of guys protest the same exact establishment that protects those rights.

I'm not a huge fan of him, but Churchill said "We sleep soundly in our beds because rough men stand ready in the night to visit violence on those who would do us harm.”

"Wokeness and political correctness"? "Well functioning"? "Democratic rights"? "Persecution"? "guys"? :) Where to begin with all that idealised clap trap. About the only one of those value laden terms that is tangible would be "guys" as they would (or should) have penises. But in todays world, even that is apparently questionable. The comment using Churchill and sleeping sound in bed is also an idealistic BS quote oft used and abused in meaningless arguments. :) Had Hitler won, he likely would have used the same quote to justify the actions of many of the "rough men" within his "well functioning military" so his people could sleep well in their beds!

No more from me on this topic. It's been as entertaining as it has been enlightening in highlighting naivety (from my perspective that it is). I think I'll stick to the topic of the thread now rather than trying to rebutt silliness.

Germany Hamburg container shipping big decrease.

Here we go again legends, that's not good, 16.9 % fewer containers than in 2022.

It's pretty obvious that the leftist fascist USA and their fifth column in Europe want to destroy the European Union, by destroying Germany.

50% of all kids in German elementary schools are now immigrants!

Germany is dead. They have " cultural diversity immigration" dead weight while the native German population is in a downward freefall. Their biggest gig - cars will soon be replaced by electric cars which are much more easier to produce. Because they have now such an uneducated population they can't attract talent because who wants to live in Germany now? They will just slowly decline until no wealth is there. National socialism was the peak of Germany and Europe and it's all gone.

Germany has closed lots of its industrial plants, metal and chemical. Electricity is too expensive. Germany and Europe are sunk in a few ways.

It's over, it just has to play out.

I was really just bring facetious. This thread is mainly "anything goes" to my mind, on some forums, they have a dedicated Spam Thread, but this is good enough.

It's sad to hear that the forum is in a poor state. I've seen a few great forums disappear or have permanent glitches. The buy/sell/swap element is the most valuable, of course.

A lot of forums I know died and ended up on Facebook, which sucks. I'd get Zuck'd in a minute for some of the stuff I say .
