What's the absolute worst that can happen? You lose a couple of dollars? Owning the coin in hand will be worth it
when someone selling them in rolls and their price is much better than the alternatives etc you then know that the items are not as collectible as you used to think they are worth but we pay for what we desired
Hi Alor, can you rephrase your comment, I didn’t quite understand? Are you saying these are not as good to collect as some think? I know modern coon mart is selling 300 for 22.56. Appears to be a deal?
when the mint sell, there is no other way to get the discount so if you overpay on the secondary, or not the first comer... usually pay above the original issue price not saying that the price can not go up...but there are also people who managed to get them on issue price, it can be a lot of people after sometime, when they no longer view them as their favorite anymore, they can just dump the coins in the market in a secondary market, it just take a few coins to set the going price its ok to have a few and -$5 each won't hurt much, but if going by 300 and the price just like the Steamboat Willie just saying usd22.56 = 31.55aud since they don't sell the roll, so no idea where to compared them to but the earlier comment was about the carded version
I picked up one of these coins to see if maybe it looks better in person, but sadly it actually looks worse. This design is a real dud in my eyes, whoever decided to put those tacky radial lines should get the sack. Also Perth Mint really need to get their act together regarding quality control. This is not ok for a premium coin.
