So I have the 2017 and 2018 2 coin sets and have seen one 2019 for over twice their price listed on eBay. I really want to complete the collection, but am hesitant about the price right now. On perths declared mintage reports they show the 2019 with 432 sales-to-date. The 2017 and 2018 are both listed as sold out of the maximum 1000 mintage. My question is do we know the fate of the extra 568 2019 sets, were they never produced or will we see them released at some point? Also has there been any word if Perth will return to sets in this format? The high reliefs are nice but the matched proof and BU are fun to compare sides by side and the presentation case is spot on.
I think if they have declared the mintage, the other sets were not produced as although they would only produce the maximum mintage of 1000 sets, it all depended on if the demand was there
