I have heard good things and bad things about the 2017, 50th anniversary silver Krugerrand and looking at what they are selling for, you love them and are willing to pay the high premium to have them or you don't and pass. So the 2017 mintage is not part of this discussion. Late last year I read some reports that there was going to be a 2018 Silver Krugerrand but haven't heard anything since. Has anyone heard any more word about a 2018 Silver Krugerrand? Personally, I hope it will be a high mintage item (unlimited?) to keep the premiums down to compete with ASE, Maple Leaf, Britannia, and other Government minted coins. Thank you,
The coin has already been made and was presented at Berlin coin show to dealers. Unlimited mintage and bullion strike, no where near as nice as the 2017 Pu coins. Pricing is the similar to silver eagles
Baron, Thank you for the heads up. I pre-ordered 20 from APMEX yesterday when they were announced. The price is making me very happy, those couldn't have hit at a better time, spot price wise.
