Usual sizes and finishes, but mintages on the 30g silver now up to 10million. http://agaunews.com/chinas-2017-panda-bullion-coin-proliferates/ Source:
Thanks for sharing. Can't say I'm a fan of the shape of the panda looking like a tent/Hoyts cinema beanbag. Also doesn't remind me of a panda in nature as intended rather it looks like someone is wearing a bear suit and sitting down. I'll be sticking to my strategy of going the other direction and backdating from 2016.
Great news for silver stackers and Panda collectors from all over the world. PS This 2017 Panda coin reminds me a Russian fairy tale brown bear with a can of honey ;-))
Design is nice. however the mintage will be increased... Seeing the prices of 2015 and 2016 pandas not really going anywhere... I probably will half the usual purchase for this upcoming panda.
IS it me or are they all starting to look too similar. It seams like since 2009 all of the designs have started to blend and become too similar. The original allure of the panda was the design variation from year to year.
I, too, have not been too fond of the bamboo curtain background that has been adopted since 2009. Only too happy to complete my 1 troz Au series collection from 1982 - 2015 and chose not to continue on with the 30 gram series from 2016 onwards.
Even if mintage will be increased believe that 2017 Silver Pandas could be a really good addition to investments portfolio.
