    MCM is advertising this
Unknown to nearly all collectors, the Royal Mint quietly released another distinct Silver Britannia variety in December. While the standard bullion Britannia coins have roughly textured fields and an unlimited mintage, the "Plain Fields" variety has smooth fields and a much lower mintage of only 10,000 worldwide! MCM was able to secure the first group of coins minted with a stunning Deep Prooflike (DPL) finish. MCM is offering this variety graded by the Numismatic Guaranty Corporation (NGC) with our exclusive Great Britain label.

Unfortunately the huge premiums on those aren't enough to keep the milkspots away, at least that was the case with the 2015 version of these . . .

Any chance this is a commissioned coin?

Ever since they changed from .925 to .999 their bullion went to the pooper. I love everything from 1998 - 2012. Great set to collect. After 2012 it went to mint to demand, and .999, and quality went to a 2 from a 9/10 (good stuff). And max mintage of 100,000K. One of my favorite sets, for sure.
