PRESENTATION This bullion coin is presented without capsule in protective acrylic tubes of 25 coins. There are 10 tubes to a monster box. Each coin is supplied on an investment grade basis. Nicks, scratches or white blemishes may appear from time to time as part of the production process, this is considered normal. The new normal-white blemishes. With really slow sales in the states, it would be a huge surprise if the Australian sales end up being limited to 50,000. Doesn't seem to be a big deal for them to go back on their word.
Getting them in at Gold Stackers. They will be same price as 2016 while they last. People who have ordered 2016s already and would prefer 2015s instead can change for free while stocks last. They are 99.9 not 99.99. Once there gone they're gone.
At the coin shop in Louisiana, they just collect dust and we might sell one a week if we are lucky. It's mostly silver eagles and generic cheap silver rounds everytime.
I agree ! These coins will have no future potential except spot and milk spot value. It's equivalent to having a Nana Mouskouri album in your record collection. Only bought by those with rose coloured glasses in the same style as Nana.

They've been selling them to local dealers in the USA which have sold them on to folk May / June 2016.
Picked up a couple. First Perth Mint product I have picked up since milkspotting became part of the manufacturing process and perfectly normal. I figured there was a good story behind the coins which would make them more interesting than your average bullion coin. With so many coins to chose from it needs to be something special to make it interesting. I don't hate the design, if it wasn't for the milk spots I would probably have bought a tube of them. Now back to boycotting Perth Mint, I can add shady business practices to the poor quality and reminting issues for which I was previously boycotting their products.
That's pretty much it! I was getting a roll of each Lunar release and getting five each of the Koalas and Kookaburras every year to put into ongoing sets. I would also pick up a tube of each new offering like the Crocodile and I think there was a joint issue between Oz and the USA, that sort of thing. I have now stopped buying these products. I stopped buying Canadian Mint products a few years earlier for the same reasons. Idea was that although you paid a higher premium you would definitely get it back when it came to sell and if I just left them in the safe for a few years it was a no-brainer. Now I could open up the safe and find that the products are milk spotted so worth about spot and their current practices could easily hurt the collectiblity of their older coins, e.g. if the 2016 and 2017 Kookaburras are milkspotted, people won't want to collect them and won't want to build up a collection from previous years so nothing in my safe would appeal to them. Something like this coin is likely to be milkspotted as well. However they are all likely to be milkspotted so I am not concerned that my coin will be worth any less than anyone else's. And while I haven't bought any of the 2016 and I am not going to buy any of the 2017 or onwards the 2015 is more than just a milkspotted Perth Mint product. It has a great story behind it and it is the illegitimate first child of a very popular ongoing series (Fourth most popular Gov issued bullion product) and very limited mintage in a series of unlimited mintage coins. I sprung for a whole two of them! If I wasn't boycotting the Perth Mint I would have been happy to snag a whole tube. I can be pretty flexible on my boycotting

I have a question about the 2015 Kangaroo coin. I guess what Bay Precious Metals did was send the first box to NGC to have them slabbed. They aren't graded but they are noted that they come from the very first box of coins. From what I understand each box is like numbered and then each coin has a grading number like 4299302-001, 4299302-002, 4299302-003 and so on. So my question is would the coin marked 001 be considered the first coin ever from this series?
