I'm thinking of buying either gold or silver proofs of libertads, wondering what people thought would be a better deal in the long term?

Yea I read that article. I have some proof 2 oz libertads and was think of either getting 2 more or getting a 1/4 oz gold proof. Just trying feel out what people think would appreciate more. The gold 1/4 oz proof only has a mintage of 350.
Seems to be a growing collector base for libertads in the US. So it might be a good buy if you can get them close to spot.
Eh the proof aren't close to spot there, the 1/4 oz proof is 375.00, and the BU is 335.00 and a mintage of 1000. I feel like I should go with the proof.
