2006 to 2001 you can try buy for less than 150 in ms69.
    1997 170 in ms69
1991 to 1994 250 to 400 (depend of year an sd or ld)

I think is better investment 1996 or 1997 in ms69 than philly 1 oz but i try to buy only one for my collection.

Also, Scout the tables of the US coin sellers, keep your eyes peeled :) some of them are pawn shop type dealers ,and know a lot about US coins ,but an odd panda that they picked up for silver melt price ,you can get that once in a lifetime buy ,if they dont know what they have:) A buddy at a show a year ago picked up a 1998 ld in OMP for 38 usd ,it was in a box of circulated Morgan dollars that a dealer was selling for melt plus $6:)

I was actually thinking about this the other day, are pawn shops worth hitting and getting anything they have that is around spot? I mean as far as Panda's go, is there any that aren't worth more that spot? I guess I am just looking to learn more as I want to start hitting the pawn shop around me and then as I travel around the country looking for those rare finds.

The problem these days is that everyone has access to the internet, so pricing is generally up to date. Rarely can you go to some out of the way place where they've based their prices on an old catalogue.

I found a 2002 Silver Panda for $55 at a local Flea market...the guy had all US coins and it was his only Panda. he did not know what he had and this was one of those cases.

Yes this is True i was able to Score a 5oz Panda ANA metal and a 1oz Panda ANA metal.

once i walked away from the Booth with my coin i went up one isle and was inspecting my coin and noticed the 1 oz was not sealed the whole way..it was opened on 1 end. I panicked at first and decided to go back to the booth and ask for them to switch it out for another one that was not a broken seal...The guy turned around to the guy cutting them opened from the packs and he said they all come like that. it is good to hear this is the truth from someone else because i thought i got screwed.

Also these are one of my Favorite metals from 2012...absolute beauty Proof and super Shiney!

While i was there right at 10:05 i was a bit late having to wait about 30-40 minutes just to get my hands on a 5oz and 1oz Metal. The other guys in line were pretty cool and i even met a guy who whipped out a 1983 proof Silver Panda 27 gram one in MS-69...that was pretty cool.

it does seem like their were a wide range of buyers...from Old ladies to the young guys...it felt like i was part of something bigger than just life..it was different cultures coming together.

nice man i saw a couple bids on some of the ones online....its good to see these selling already so quick on the bay.

post back on this thread if you get a 69 or 70....what do you think a 70 would be worth at this point?
